Xavier “Zay” Harvey, a 30-year-old Black male from Augusta, Georgia, was killed late on the night of August 11, 2018, in the 2900 block of Dahlia Drive, the same area where he lived. Authorities said he had been shot at least once and was pronounced dead just before midnight, turning what should have been an ordinary summer night into another homicide scene for Richmond County. In the aftermath, his body was sent to the GBI crime lab in Atlanta for an autopsy, and the case immediately took o ...
