Joy Roby, a 29-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on August 25, 2018, in Atlanta, GA. Joy was a mother to an 11-year-old girl and was known for her love of singing and her vibrant personality. On the fateful day, Joy was leaving her job at McDonald's when she was approached by two individuals near Washington Road and Dodson Drive Connector in East Point.
