On June 24, 1997, Priscilla Culberson, a 40-year-old African American woman from Atlanta, GA, was reported missing after she failed to show up for work. Her family, concerned about her sudden disappearance, began searching for her. Later that day, her 20-year-old daughter discovered Priscilla's nude body in a wooded area off Campbellton Road in southwest Atlanta. The investigation revealed that Priscilla had been brutally beaten, raped, and strangled.
