On a late December evening in Savannah, Georgia, the life of 23-year-old Stefon Wright was tragically cut short. On December 29, 2018, Wright was the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in the vicinity of Treat Avenue and Iowa Street.

Around 8:30 p.m., officers from the Savannah Police Department were called to Memorial Medical Center after Wright arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound. He had been transported to the medical facility by a private vehicle. Despite the efforts of ...
