On July 19, 2019, 17-year-old Gerardo Cabrera-Perez, a Hispanic male, was tragically shot and killed in Atlanta, GA. The incident occurred in the afternoon at the Foxwood Apartments located in the 3800 block of McElroy Road, near Buford Highway. Cabrera-Perez was found by police near a gazebo in the apartment complex, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his stomach, leg, and head. Despite being rushed to a local hospital in critical condition, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
