Therese Bradley Horton, a 43-year-old Black woman, was tragically killed on August 4, 2019, in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident, which has been described as an act of intimate partner violence, took place outside of an entertainment complex. Horton was in a car with her girlfriend, 35-year-old Candace Morgan, when an argument broke out.

The dispute escalated, and Morgan allegedly fired a gun at Horton while they were still inside the vehicle. Horton then exited the car and attempted to flee ...
