Death by Force

Maxine McDonald, a 60-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on June 15, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was found at the intersection of Pryor Street SW and Rawson Street SW, having been shot at least once. Maxine McDonald was one of three homeless individuals targeted in a series of killings that occurred in late spring 2020. The other victims were Timothy Smith, 45, and Curtis Cockrell, 56. All three victims were shot and left for dead in different locations around Atlanta.
