In the winter of 1986, a sense of fear gripped a west Atlanta neighborhood as a series of brutal slayings began to unfold, preying on the community's most vulnerable. The first victim in this tragic chapter was Annie Rochelle Copeland, an 85-year-old Black woman living alone.
