On May 22, 2020, 38-year-old African American male Damond Cain Stevens was fatally shot in Macon, Georgia. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Houston Avenue and Cynthia Avenue, adjacent to the Bowden Homes apartment complex. Upon arrival, Bibb County Sheriff's deputies discovered two male victims with gunshot wounds.
