In the late hours of a Thursday in June, a veteran's life was tragically cut short in his own home. Gary Walker, a 69-year-old male, was shot shortly before midnight on June 4, 2020, near the front door of his residence on Lorenzo Drive in southwest Atlanta. A man who had served his country in both the U.S. Air Force and the Navy, he spent his later years caring for his disabled sister.
