In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Atlanta, Georgia, a community was struck by a senseless act of violence that claimed the life of a man known for his dedication to protecting others. Joseph Benjamin, a 40-year-old male, was nearing the end of his shift as a security guard at the Edgewood Court Apartments on Hardee Street NE on September 30, 2020.
