Jerome Blake, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on April 20, 2016, in Atlanta, Georgia. Known in the music industry as the rapper "Blizzy," Blake's death occurred during a violent incident at Headquarters Recording Studio in southwest Atlanta. The events leading to his death were part of a planned robbery orchestrated by several individuals.
