Randy John Schipani, a 34-year-old white male, was a dedicated police officer with the Atlanta Police Department. On May 8, 1992, during the morning rush hour, Officer Schipani was tragically killed while performing a routine traffic stop on University Drive at the I-75 interchange in Atlanta, Georgia.
