Jah-Malik Marcano, a 26-year-old man from Atlanta, Georgia, was fatally shot on May 9, 2024. The incident occurred on a MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) train. According to MARTA police, the shooting took place on the eastbound Blue Line train as it was heading from the H.E.
