On September 8, 2020, Jarvez Miller, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in Valdosta, Georgia. The incident occurred around 8:24 PM on North Forrest Street, where Valdosta Police Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Jarvez Miller with apparent gunshot wounds to his body.
