Joseph Thomas Sweat Jr., aged 47, was last seen on the night of July 11, 2005, at approximately 10:55 PM in Washington, D.C. He was walking away from his residence located in the 1100 block of North Capitol Street NW. Sweat was wearing a white t-shirt, dark baggy jeans, sneakers, and a dark keychain around his neck at the time of his disappearance. Despite extensive efforts by the authorities, he has not been heard from since.
