Felycya Harris, a 33-year-old transgender woman, was found dead on October 3, 2020, in Augusta, Georgia. Her body was discovered at Meadowbrook Park, where she had been shot to death. The discovery was made by a family who had gathered at the park for a get-together and noticed what appeared to be a person sleeping under a covered picnic area.
