Deshaun Lamar Scott, a 36-year-old African American male from Cleveland, Ohio, was tragically killed on October 21, 2020, in Quitman, Georgia. Scott, along with 56-year-old John Timothy Thompson, was found with fatal gunshot wounds on Emerson Road near Grooverville Road in South Brooks County. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was called to investigate the double homicide.
