Edward “Buddy” Sapp, a 77-year-old white male, was found shot and killed inside his home on Burnette Road in Quitman, Georgia, on June 14, 2023. Authorities responded to the scene following a request from the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called in to assist with the investigation. An autopsy was scheduled at the GBI Crime Lab to determine the exact cause of death.
