In the early hours of a Saturday morning, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of an East Orange neighborhood, leaving one man dead and another wounded. Alishakri Pearson, a 31-year-old male resident of Kenilworth, New Jersey, was shot on South Munn Avenue on July 10, 2021.
