In the autumn of 2021, a burst of violence on a residential street in East Orange, New Jersey, claimed the life of Alfred Cheatham, a 25-year-old male. On the afternoon of November 2nd, police responded to reports of gunfire on Whittlesey Avenue, near the Garden State Parkway. Arriving at the scene just before 3 p.m., they discovered Cheatham mortally wounded from gunshots. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:23 p.m.
