Frederick Rooks, a 34-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on January 21, 2021, in Decatur, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 3:30 a.m., when police responded to a call about gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, officers found Rooks lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
