Rodney Evans, a 31-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 14, 2021, in Decatur, Georgia. On that Valentine's Day, Evans was found with a fatal gunshot wound in an overturned car. The incident occurred along Warriors Path in unincorporated Decatur. First responders discovered Evans with a single gunshot wound to the head and transported him to Atlanta Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries on June 3, 2021.
