Eggene Cofield, a 31-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 4, 2022, in Decatur, Georgia. The incident occurred at Dr. Red Auto Paint and Body Shop located on Covington Highway. According to reports, Eggene Cofield had approached the shop to inquire about correcting the tint on his vehicle. During this interaction, a confrontation ensued between Cofield and Robert Moon, a 60-year-old man who was present at the shop.
