On April 12, 2021, Parrish Forster, a 48-year-old African American male from Macon, Georgia, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred early in the morning at approximately 1:14 a.m. on Mumford Road at West Napier Avenue. Deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and found Forster with a gunshot wound to his back. He was transported to Atrium Navicent Health, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
