Eric Bridgeford, a 23-year-old male from Houston, Texas, tragically lost his life on January 3, 1998. His death was the result of a violent burglary gone wrong. On that fateful morning, Franklin DeWayne Alix, a 34-year-old man, accosted Eric's sister at gunpoint in the parking lot of their family home. He forced her into the trunk of a car, drove her to an ATM where he unsuccessfully attempted to use her bank cards, and then sexually assaulted her. Alix then returned to the Bridgeford residence ...
