Gracie Halstion Miller, a 62-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on May 18, 2021, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Reflections on Sweetwater apartment complex, where Gracie was found dead from gunshot wounds. The shooting also left another woman, 44-year-old Shamome Miller, injured. Shamome, who is believed to be a relative of Gracie, was transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive her injuries.
