On May 24, 2023, a double shooting incident occurred at a residence on Woodington Circle in unincorporated Lawrenceville, Georgia, resulting in the deaths of Mirian Farranto, 35, and Christopher Farranto, 52. The Gwinnett County Police Department responded to the scene around 6:00 a.m. after a call was made by a teenage boy who lived at the home. Upon arrival, officers found the bodies of Mirian and Christopher in the driveway.
