Derek Whiteside, a 30-year-old African American male from Lawrenceville, GA, tragically lost his life on March 19, 2020, in a double shooting incident at the Fairway View Apartments in Duluth, GA. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. when police responded to reports of gunfire.
