Valeria Ramos, an 11-year-old Hispanic girl, tragically lost her life on April 17, 2021, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The incident occurred at Bethesda Park, where her body was discovered alongside her father, 45-year-old Ignacio Ramos. Both were found inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Preliminary investigations by the Gwinnett County Police Department indicated that Ignacio Ramos fatally shot his daughter before taking his own life in what has been classified as a murder-suicide.
