In a tragic turn of events, 74-year-old Lorene Nealous of Atlanta, Georgia, was killed in a violent domestic incident. Her life was cut short when she was fatally shot by her own grandson.

The grim sequence of events unfolded when Terrell Gas, 36, first shot his mother, Ava Fitzpatrick, in the face.
