Terryl Jamal Coleman, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 11, 2021, in Savannah, Georgia. His death was part of a mass shooting incident that occurred at a public housing complex on the edge of Savannah’s downtown historic district. The shooting resulted in eight people being struck by gunfire, including an 18-month-old child who sustained a minor injury. Terryl Coleman was initially hospitalized but succumbed to his injuries a few days later.
