Nigel Lamar Brown, a 9-year-old African American boy from Albany, Georgia, tragically lost his life on August 8, 2021. Nigel was found unresponsive in his bed by his mother after a car drove by and opened fire on their home. The incident occurred around 11 p.m., and Nigel was pronounced dead at the scene.
