The incident occurred early in the morning at an apartment complex on Saunders Drive. Fletcher was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:27 a.m. The Columbus Police Department immediately launched a homicide investigation, marking the area with over two dozen evidence markers, indicating a significant number of shots fired.
