Donquaris Fletcher, a 21-year-old African American male from Columbus, Georgia, tragically lost his life on February 25, 2022. The incident occurred early in the morning at an apartment complex on Saunders Drive. Fletcher was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:27 a.m. The Columbus Police Department immediately launched a homicide investigation, marking the area with over two dozen evidence markers, indicating a significant number of shots fired.
