In the spring of 2022, the life of 19-year-old Lane Michael Bullard, a male from Winder, Georgia, was tragically cut short. On the evening of April 11th, two motorists driving along a dirt road on the edge of City Pond Park made a grim discovery. They found Bullard's body lying next to a car and immediately contacted the authorities. Responding officers from the Winder Police Department confirmed that the young man had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. This conviction was part of a broader Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations case against the 1-8 Trey Gangster Bloods. The investigation by the Georgia Attorney General's Office uncovered a range of criminal activities orchestrated by the gang. For his role in the murder of Lane Bullard and other charges related to the RICO case, Brantavious Sims was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus an additional 25 years.
