Brandon Lay, a 34-year-old man from Winder, Georgia, was found dead on October 17, 2015. The incident occurred at the intersection of Charlie Hall Road and Old Hog Mountain Road. Lay, who was discovered in a vehicle, had been shot. The Barrow County Sheriff's Office quickly identified and arrested a suspect, Paul Hamilton, also from Winder.
