In a tragic turn of events on a Sunday evening in Marietta, Georgia, a domestic dispute left a 58-year-old Hispanic male, Raul Medina, dead from multiple gunshot wounds. The incident, which unfolded on May 22, 2022, at the Westbrook Mobile Home Park on Austell Road, sent shockwaves through the community. Authorities were summoned to the scene around 6:20 p.m., where they discovered Medina, who was then rushed to Wellstar Cobb Hospital, but he did not survive his injuries.

investigation quickly identified 25-year-old Francisco Renovato as the suspect in the shooting. After the incident, Renovato fled the mobile home park, prompting a search by law enforcement. He was later tracked to a nearby neighborhood on Lanier Drive. As officers closed in, they heard a single gunshot emanating from a wooded area. The Cobb County SWAT team was deployed to the scene.
