In the late morning of February 5, 2025, a burst of violence shattered the ordinary atmosphere of the Windy Hill Village shopping center in Marietta, Georgia. Twenty-one-year-old Jabril Abdul Blount, an African American male, was inside a vehicle when he was struck by multiple gunshots. The incident occurred around 10:42 a.m. near U.S. 41, a busy thoroughfare. When officers from the Cobb County Police Department arrived at the scene at 2359 Windy Hill Road, they found Blount grievously wounded. ...
