On the morning of February 5, 2025, 21-year-old African American male Jabril Abdul Blount was fatally shot in Marietta, Georgia. The incident occurred around 10:42 a.m. at the Windy Hill Village shopping center, located at 2359 Windy Hill Road near U.S. 41. Responding officers from the Cobb County Police Department found Jabril Abdul Blount, a 21-year-old African American male from Roswell, Georgia, inside a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
