Shawn Footman, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 27, 2018, in Marietta, Georgia. His body was discovered inside his apartment, located in the 700 block of Franklin Gateway, with an apparent gunshot wound. The Marietta Police Department responded to the scene early that Friday morning after neighbors reported hearing gunfire.
