In the summer of 2022, a tragedy unfolded in Atlanta, Georgia, cutting short the life of 60-year-old Dahlaia Roberts. On August 4th, Roberts, a female employee at the Cosby Spears Memorial Towers, a high-rise apartment building on North Avenue, was fatally shot multiple times at her place of work. She was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving behind a community in shock.
