Sanja Star Harrison, a 14-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on November 19, 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia. Sanja was eight months pregnant at the time of her death, and her unborn child also did not survive. The incident occurred at the Pavilion Place Apartments in southwest Atlanta, where Sanja was babysitting her sister's children. A stray bullet, fired from the apartment above, pierced through the ceiling and struck Sanja in the head, leading to her immediate death.
