De'Asia “De-De” Shyann Hart, a 19-year-old mother, lost her life due to gun violence in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred on October 29, 2023, near a RaceTrac gas station close to the campus of Georgia State University. Hart was one of four people shot in the incident, which stemmed from a fight between three individuals who began shooting at each other. Despite not being involved in the altercation, Hart and the other victims were innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire.
