In the early morning hours of October 27, 2023, a dispute between several individuals escalated into gunfire at a RaceTrac convenience store near the Georgia State University campus in downtown Atlanta. Caught in the crossfire was 19-year-old De’Asia De-De Shyann Hart, a Black/African American female who was an innocent bystander.
