On September 11, 2017, Kenneth Lavergne, aged 28, was fatally shot while driving his vehicle in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. on the 9300 block of the West Sam Houston Parkway Service Road, just south of Beechnut Street. Surveillance footage captured several cars driving next to Lavergne’s vehicle before the shooting occurred. Lavergne was struck by gunfire, causing him to lose control and crash near a nearby restaurant.
Authorities believe the suspect(s) were driving alongside Lavergne when the shots were fired, and they continue to seek public assistance to identify the individuals responsible.
