Kevin Blackwell, a 28-year-old African American male from Duluth, GA, was tragically shot and killed on August 20, 2022. The incident occurred outside the Sportstime Bar & Grille on Satellite Blvd. in unincorporated Duluth. According to the Gwinnett County Police Department, officers responded to a call about a person being shot just after 2:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Kevin Blackwell with at least one gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
