In the late morning of a Thursday in September, the bustling city of Atlanta was rocked by a brazen act of violence that claimed the life of a young father. Twenty-year-old Sincere Rexall Sullivan was fatally wounded on September 15, 2022, in what law enforcement officials have described as a targeted shooting. The tragic event unfolded at approximately 10:45 a.m.
in the parking lot of a Pure gas station situated at the intersection of Jonesboro and Hutchens roads in the southeastern part of the city.
When police arrived at the chaotic scene, they discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One was located at the gas station, while the other had made it to a row of townhouses across the street. Both individuals were urgently transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Sincere Sullivan succumbed to his injuries. The second victim, a man estimated to be between 35 and 50 years old, was also treated for his injuries.
