Tiawan Williams, a 43-year-old African American man, tragically lost his life on May 10, 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred when Williams went to a home on Nathan Road in southwest Atlanta to retrieve his wife's stolen car. Upon arrival, he encountered Quordell Tarver, the man he believed had taken the vehicle. Both men were armed, and a verbal altercation quickly escalated into a shootout.
