On October 10, 2022, 16-year-old Robert Shaw, an African American male, was tragically killed in a double shooting at the Riverwood Townhouses in Jonesboro, Georgia. The incident occurred in broad daylight, around 3 p.m., when gunshots rang out in the neighborhood. Robert Shaw was found lying in a pool of blood, having been shot in the back of his head and neck.
