In the early hours of a Thursday morning in Jonesboro, Georgia, a domestic dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion, leaving 35-year-old Bryan Tucker dead. The male victim was found by Clayton County police in the master bedroom of his River Road home just after midnight on May 27, 2021. He had been shot multiple times.
Initially, authorities received a 911 call from his 35-year-old wife, Rhonda Tucker, who claimed that the shooting was an accident that occurred during a fight. However, upon further investigation and an interview with Rhonda Tucker, a different story emerged. She admitted to police that after an argument between the couple had intensified, she picked up a handgun, followed her husband, and shot him until he didn't move.
Following her confession, Rhonda Tucker was arrested and taken into custody. She was subsequently booked into the Clayton County Jail. She is facing charges of malice murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.
