Deonté Drequan Jackson, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 16, 2022, in Valdosta, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Ora Lee West apartments, where multiple individuals were shot. Jackson was one of the victims who succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at South Georgia Medical Center. The shooting also resulted in the death of another individual, Toccaro Sims, and left two others injured.
