On New Year's Day 2024, Kyle Thomas Walker, a 30-year-old Caucasian male from Cook County, Georgia, was fatally shot in Valdosta. The incident occurred around 8:23 p.m. at a Circle K on Northside Drive. Responding to a call about a shooting, Valdosta Police Officers discovered Walker in the front seat of a vehicle with a gunshot wound to his head.
